The builder spared no expense creating this three-story family home. It’s big, but not ostentatious or cavernous. Each of the rooms is finished with luxe details such as eye-catching pendant light fixtures and impressive millwork.

The outdoor foundation is rimmed with fieldstones so you don’t see concrete, and there are two granite lamp posts that decorate the front and back yards.

The front door is heavy wood, opening into an oak-floored hall with a half-bath and coat closet. The foyer has pastel wallpaper with a grasscloth look.

To one side is a chic office facing the street, and to the other side is the living room. It features a dramatic light fixture and large windows on the street. The ceilings throughout the first floor are 9 feet so the space feels airy.

There is a wide arched room divider between the foyer and the living room. All the halls on both floors are extra wide. The interior doorways have transoms above, which look distinctive and let in lots of light.

The dining room is toward the back of the house, with a walk-through butler’s pantry between it and the banquet-sized kitchen. The pantry has a bar sink, lighted cabinets and a beverage fridge. And if more storage is on your list of musts, this house has a walk-in pantry across from the serving area.

The quartz-topped island is enormous, with a microwave drawer and lots of other drawers to handle all your table linens and cookware. Cabinets lining the walls have lighted glass fronts. There is another walk-in pantry for serving pieces or dried food.

The range is a Thermador six-burner gas model with hood. The apron sink overlooks the backyard, and there is a double wall oven next to the fridge.

Between the kitchen and family rooms is a breakfast area with a glass door to the patios out back. There are three patios on different levels made of blue granite, according to Diane Hughes, who is marketing the four lots on the Isabella Lane cul-de-sac.

The family room has a marble-trimmed gas fireplace and large pendant fixture hanging from the coffered ceiling.

The mudroom includes a half-bath, a bench and beadboard wall with hooks to hang the family’s gear. A door to the two-car garage is off the mudroom.

Hughes said all the floors that are tile are equipped with radiant heat, including the bathrooms, foyer and mudroom.

Along the upstairs hall is a large laundry room with a sink and plenty of space for hanging clothes and storing cleaning supplies.

Double doors set off the master suite. There is another gas fireplace here, perfect for cozy evenings.

Off the bedroom there are two custom-designed walk-in closets, a separate linen closet, and a dressing room with a small sink.

The master bath has a claw-foot cast iron tub, a shower with two heads and a double vanity. The toilet is in its own small room. The bathroom complex has a radiant heated floor.

On the third floor there is a fifth bedroom and full bath, plus a large open hang-out space for comfortable furniture, workout equipment or a big-screen TV.
