animalnewsblog.com » Pet Product Reviews http://animalnewsblog.com Mon, 16 Aug 2010 14:54:20 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.8.1 en hourly 1 FURminator http://animalnewsblog.com/product-reviews/furminator http://animalnewsblog.com/product-reviews/furminator#comments Sat, 11 Aug 2007 00:53:23 +0000 Brooke http://animalnewsblog.com/?p=4 While I don’t intend to write many product reviews, I just couldn’t resist saying something about this one.  I just purchased a FURminator for my cat this week and was amazed by how well it worked.  I had seen it a few times at different veterinary conferences, but I was suspicious of its claims.  The site says that it reduces up to 90% shedding with regular use  (once or twice a week), and I believe it.  I filled up my small trash can with hair the first time I used it on my cat and he couldn’t get enough of it.  I will write another post on this product in a few weeks after I see if there is less hair on my bed and couch.  The way this thing works, I won’t be surprised at all if I have to vacuum less!
